Trampolines have now become very popular among a lot of families. You can find several families having one in their back yard. Having trampolines at home can help keep your kids at home. You can keep your eye on them as they are having fun. Jumping up and down the trampoline is also healthy for your kid. If you can’t persuade them to stop watching TV and go out for a walk, you’ll surely find it easy to convince get off the couch and exercise on the trampoline. There are many types and sizes of trampoline you can find. You have the round, rectangular and square trampolines.

You should not just choose whatever is available. There are some things you have to take into consideration. For instance, if you have limited space in your yard, it may be ideal for you to get a square trampoline instead of a rectangular trampoline or a round trampoline. A lot of people confuse a square trampoline with a rectangular trampoline. Though you may say that the difference is pretty obvious, but still a lot of people mistake a square trampoline with a rectangular trampoline. And these two are very different not just in shape but also when it comes to the quality of the bounce.

The springs of square mini trampolines are made in a crisscross pattern. These crisscross patterns provide a harder bounce because of the distance between the springs. Thus if you don’t want your kids to bounce too high, this may be an ideal option for you. Most rectangular trampolines give higher bounce that is why this is preferred by gymnasts and athletes. But then again, the quality of the bounce will also depend on the brand, the materials used, the build, age and many other factors which could cause a person to bounce higher.

If you have decided that these square shaped trampolines are what you need, then you can check out square trampolines for sale in stores that sell trampolines of different types and sizes. You can also find them online. But before you purchase, it may help to compare the quality and prices of various trampolines first instead of just picking the first one you find. You would need a good quality that would ensure your child’s safety. It would help if you also do your research to find out which of the many trampolines would be the right one for you and your family.

Trampolines come in three shapes – a circle, a rectangle, and a square. The round trampoline is the most common type that is used by many when it comes to recreation, exercise, and play. The rectangle trampoline, meanwhile, is mainly used for athletic practices. The third and less common type is the square trampoline, caught in between in terms of function – giving a safe and even bounce of a round trampoline, but with the freedom of a rectangle trampoline – making it ideal for both play and exercise.

What you would notice when you jump on a round trampoline is that you always find yourself back in the center even if you have attempted to jump on the sides. This occurs because a round trampoline’s springs are arranged in a way that will force you into jumping at the center. Being “forced” to jump in the center isn’t really good because it limits your movement. An advantage of a round trampoline, however, is that it gives an even bounce. As for rectangle trampolines, they do have the advantage of a wide area space unlike the round ones. But they do give an uncontrollable bounce, making it unsafe for play and leisure.

Square trampolines are like the round ones when it comes to producing an even height of bounce. So every time you jump on it, you get the same height in bounce. For the wellbeing of your family, you always want to look at this factor as a safety precaution. Kids are unable to control the force that they apply with each jump so a trampoline that prevents them from flying off its boundaries is the safest option. If you are still unsure of this safety mechanism, then you can always add a square trampoline enclosure to avoid any falls.

Now that it has been set that a square mini trampoline is a safe option, you still may not be convinced why you should choose it over a round trampoline that is just as safe. The limitation of the latter is that it doesn’t have a wide area. Having more than one child jump on it only endangers their individual safety, placing them at risk of injuring each other. But because a square one has a wide area space just as the rectangle has, it makes it highly ideal for play and for exercise as well.

The square trampoline is the best type of trampoline, combining the best ‘sides’ of the round and rectangle trampoline. It is both safe and spacious, making it a good ground for child play and for performing exercises.

In thinking about which type of trampoline to purchase, you may want to consider a square trampoline. While there are three main shapes for your typical trampoline (Square trampoline, round/octagon trampoline, or rectangular trampoline), you will want to make sure you get the trampoline that is right for you.

First and foremost – a square trampoline is not a rectangular trampoline. There are differences, and those differences can and will matter. Please, please, please, do not think that a rectangular trampoline is the same as a square trampoline. I know you may think that the difference is obvious, but I have seen many people confuse the two.

One of the main reasons to buy a square trampoline versus a circular trampoline or a rectangular trampoline is because you may need a square trampoline for your yard. Square trampolines are great in that they do not waste much space, and in some tight yards that may be the single most important reason to purchase a square trampoline.

Another reason to purchase a square trampoline is that you may not get the same vertical travel as you would with a rectangular tramp. The springs on a square tramp are made in a crisscross pattern, which results in a harder bounce because of the distance from the springs. This may sound bad, but if you think about it, it may be what you want if you don’t want your kids going quite as high. Of course, my disclaimer (you always have to have these now days)is that the amount of bounce and vertical travel will also depend very much, and in many cases more, on the actual trampoline brand, build, age, etc., and not just the shape.

I hope this helped you in your decision about purchasing a square trampoline. Remember that you can find some great deals on the net for square trampolines—just don’t forget to look!
