Trampolines come in three shapes – a circle, a rectangle, and a square. The round trampoline is the most common type that is used by many when it comes to recreation, exercise, and play. The rectangle trampoline, meanwhile, is mainly used for athletic practices. The third and less common type is the square trampoline, caught in between in terms of function – giving a safe and even bounce of a round trampoline, but with the freedom of a rectangle trampoline – making it ideal for both play and exercise.

In thinking about which type of trampoline to purchase, you may want to consider a square trampoline. While there are three main shapes for your typical trampoline (Square trampoline, round/octagon trampoline, or rectangular trampoline), you will want to make sure you get the trampoline that is right for you.
First and foremost – a square trampoline is not a rectangular trampoline. There are differences, and those differences can and will matter. Please, please, please, do not think that a rectangular trampoline is the same as a square trampoline.
